Behold the Crosses

A selection of Daylily Crosses

An Experiement

Adorable Tiger has never thrived in my garden, but Roses in Snow has, this cross was a whim based on what was blooming.

Roses in Snow is interesting because the blossoms look different througout the season, some have more or less red, some more closely resemble the parent Calgary Stampede.

I love the pictures I've seen of Adorable Tiger, maybe this is how it can finally show off.

Love Those Stripes

I love the stripes on Nowhere to Hide and I hope to see how that trait can be expressed elsehwhere.

Lucky Streak is a tall and striking diploid, so it seemed liked a good companion for Nowhere to Hide.

Origami Something

My first ever cross, this made 2019 a very exciting year. I have crossed this pair in both directions. As of August 2020 there are 6 seedings with Paper Butterfly as the pod parent and 3 with MNE as the pod parent.

To enhance the tiger effect, I would consider crossing a seedling with Nowhere to Hide in the future. I'm hoping that one of these seedlings is colored like MNE but shaped like PB.
